Instagram Round-Up: May to August 2020

 Hi friends!

As many of you know, I had taken a break from sharing things on the blog when I found out I was pregnant with our second baby. Now that baby #2 is almost 5 months old, I am playing catch up and will share some of the new things that I posted to Instagram this past year, including a highly requested freebies :)

1. KINDER READ ALOUDS: MAY & JUNE

This was a project I started when I was on my first maternity leave and finally completed last May. I originally made a "year long" bundle with September to April and added May and June to that bundle, so if you bought the bundle when it first came out and missed the update, be sure to re-download and grab these 2 months!

I originally created these as easy read aloud lessons, perfect for supply plans. They came in handy a bunch of times when I had to take unplanned days off when my son was sick and had to stay home from daycare when I first went back to work!

If you are interested here are the links to May, June and the year long bundle!

2. END OF THE YEAR POEM

I combined a few different poems I found online and created this poem to put in the packages that the kid's picked up during the last week of school (we had a masked drive through drop off/pick up hour).

I've had some requests to share the template, so I've added it to a fully editable version to this post! You can click here or on the download button below to grab this editable poem!

3. SIGHT WORD POEMS

A huge project I finally completed last summer was my poetry book pack! I've been working on this for years and I finally was able to get it fully completed to share. These poems are a major part of our sight word program and I share exactly how I use it in the product (with a break down of what we do with the poem every day during Shared Reading time!).

3. REAL PHOTO GEOBOARD LETTER & NUMBER CARDS

I love using geoboards with my class as a fun, hands on way to explore numbers and letters! The set I was using was getting really old and ratty and I had to reprint and laminate them anyways, so I redid the design as well!

These are perfect for the beginning of the year and then a great one to bring out through out the year as well! Here are the links if you are interested in these cards:

4. SNAP CUBE LETTER CARDS

I also made these snap cube letter cards last summer! Again, the set I was using was looking really old and I was going to reprint and laminate anyways so I gave the cards a refresh! This is another centre I always put out at the beginning of the year because it is so hands on and engaging and it's a great way to introduce snap cubes!

Ok I'm going to stop there for now! I have a few more things I might add to this post and I'll also (hopefully) be recapping September 2020-June 2021 in the near future as well. Be sure to follow me on Instagram to stay up to date on new posts!

Bye for now!
